Are You a Farmworker with Financial Hardship Due to COVID-19? Income was impacted due to COVID-19 in one or more of the following ways: • Loss or reduction of income due to workplace closures, reduced hours, or layoffs. • Inability to work due to infection with COVID-19. • Need to miss work to care for school-age children due to school and daycare closures or need to care for a family member infected with COVID-19. • Unexpected expenses due to mandated government health orders to stay home or self-quarantine. 4. Have a need for assistance because of an inability to meet the most basic needs of food, housing and medical support. Priority will be given to those with an annual household income of less than 50% Area Median Income (AMI), followed by 51%-80% AMI. Note: Those who have received funding through the Ventura County Pandemic Rental Assistance Program are not eligible for this program. The program provides a grant amount of up to $1,500 per eligible household. A farmworker is defined as a person whose primary income is earned through permanent, seasonal, or migrant agricultural labor, including those employed in animal food, feed and ingredient production, packaging and distribution, field crop, and other agricultural facilities.

¿Es Usted un Trabajador Agrícola con Dificultades Económicas Debidas al COVID-19?

1. El solicitante debe ser un Trabajador Agrícola.2. Haber vivido en el Condado de Ventura como mínimo los últimos 30 días.3. Los ingresos fueron impactados debido al COVID-19 en uno o más de las siguientes maneras:

• Pérdida o reducción de ingresos debido a cierres de trabajo, horas de trabajo reducidas o despidos.

• Incapacidad de trabajar debido a infección por COVID-19.• Necesidad de perder trabajo para cuidar a niños de edad escolar debido a cierres de

escuela y cuidado infantil, o la necesidad de cuidar a un familiar infectado por COVID-19.• Gastos inesperados debidos a las órdenes de salud obligatorias del gobierno de mantenerse

en casa o de cuarentena propia. 4. Tener una necesidad de ayuda debido a una incapacidad de cumplir con las necesidades más

básicas de alimentos, vivienda y apoyo médico. Se dará prioridad a aquellos con un ingreso anual del hogar de menos del 50% del Ingreso Medio del Área (AMI, por sus siglas en inglés), seguido por 51%-80% AMI.

Tenga en Cuenta: Aquellos que recibieron financiación a través del Programa de Ayuda por la Pandemia para Inquilinos del Condado de Ventura no califiquen para este programa.
