Science, Australian Parliamentary Library, Australian Women’s Register, Australian Dictionary of Biography Online, Queensland University of Technology.
• Coming soon: Virtual International Authority File (~10 million records)

• Objective: – Improve discovery of research outputs and data– Persistently identify researchers and research
organisations using public identifiers– Improve management of public researcher
identity in the research sector

• Stage 1:– Define research sector requirements for the Party
Infrastructure– Enable exchange of RIF-CS party records with ANDS– End of phase report and options for delivering Stage 2 with

• Stage 2:– Adapt People Australia infrastructure to create ARDC Party
Infrastructure– Modify identity matching service to cater for party data
from the research sector– Enhance Party Administration Tool to enable repository
and data managers to manage the party data they contribute and to obtain assigned identifiers
– Ingest data from small number of early implementers– Create technical documentation and guidelines
