This project includes an exhibition and re-search space and a lecture theater, focu-sing on a single theme : nature. It raises the following question ; How can archi-tecture reflect an abstract and spiritual idea of nature ? Simply by expressing its «elementary components», such as light, wind, water, silence and ignore the rest.

This project is located in one of the many suburbs of Strasbourg city. However, due to its exceptional natural character, ma-king a classic planning or multiplying de-tached houses would be negative and hopeless. We want to create a new dyna-mics to explore other ways of living around a new independent system off the ground.

URBAN PROJECT

«Charrette projects» constitute one of the customs of our school. Every year, students work within a group to help a final year student to achieve the deve-lopment of his final project assignment. I worked on a project entitled A memorial to the ice? It raises the question of how ar-chitecture can raise public awareness of a scientific problem and educate the public on this concern, namely global warming. My role within the team was to finalize the design and develop presentation docu-ments appearing on the following pages.

PUBLIC EQUIPMENT

It was a long term project, carried out up to the stage of the final draft with the structural design. It was implemented in Mulhouse. It raised the question of the programmatic diversity, on an indus-trial site in a locked node infrastruc-ture (roads and railways). The goal of this architecture is to enable the imple-mentation of a real neighborhood life by restoring the pedestrian zones, without undermining other means of transport.

As part of a competition launched by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Strasbourg, we have proposed a struc-ture model of itinerant street trading, wich hangs on any streetlight and broad-casts videos. This device promotes the neighboring shops and does not com-pete with them. Here, for example, «head in the cube» broadcasts trai-lers proposed by the cinema next to it.
