WelcomeFounded in the year 2000, Regal Balustrades are a family operated company, dedicated to provide a high level of quality workmanship into each and every contract, fulfilling your requirements within time and budget.

Specialising in the area of architectural metalwork, we are able to manage any contract from concept to completion and are able to provide a comprehensive quality service to architects, contractors and shop fitters in the commercial and public development sector throughout the UK.

Provided in our service are detailed site surveys, CAD drawings, manufacturing and installation by our own dedicated qualified fitters.

Balustrade specifications

Polyester powder coated Suitable for use in busy everyday environments such as hospitals, schools, care homes and offices, this durable and effective coating is available in all RAL and BS colours. Other applications include metallic, anti-graffiti, anti-bacterial, flame, scratch and solvent resistant finishes.The flexibility of our coating process allows for specific parts to be coated individually to create a contrasting theme.

Stainless steel Available in 304 or 316 marine grade stainless steel, this easy to maintain, anti-corrosive specification is ideal for all external and seafront applications. Balustrade, handrails or architectural metalwork, can be either satin polished or mirror polished finish.

Structural glass Structural glass is manufactured to the highest BS standards creating superb visual effect and uncompromised views. Toughened as standard, it is extremely effective, and can be screen printed, sandblasted, laminated or heat soaked with the option for incorporating colour. Glass thickness ranges from 12-25mm depending on the use, location and loadings.

Bronze Our elegant, bespoke designs are ideal for older historic properties such as Museums and listed buildings. This range is available in either a polished or aged finish to complement the building. We are able to offer custom manufactured cast work to match with existing designs if required.

Hardwood With it’s flowing clean finish, our factory finished hardwood adds character and warmth to any project. Available as standard in maple, oak, cherry, ash, beech or mahogany, with other finishes and stains available. All hardwood handrails are lacquered for protection and durability.

Galvanised This practical and durable specification is available to suit most applications. Finishes can include polyester powder coating or epoxy painting to any RAL or BS colours.

Polyester powder coated Gaol Street, Hereford Specified for an apartment block in Hereford town centre, this easy to maintain balustrade system gives a clean open feel to the stairways. Colour matched to the surrounding steelwork helps it blend with the building, whilst the glass retains the light levels through the glazed curtain wall.

Stainless steel Kenn Park, Clevedon The stainless steel balustrade in this project provided a durable, maintenance free system with an added touch of class and style. Using 304 grade satin polished stainless steel, and a clear glass infill, the final look reflected the executive interior of the high quality offices.

Care home, Leckhampton Working closely with the Conservation Officer, we were able to provide an original antique design balustrade in a bronze finish. Attention to detail produced a bespoke final product creating an aged look finish to compliment the listed building.

Galvanised Distribution depot, Avonmouth This commercial distribution depot in Avonmouth required a warehouse staircase with balustrade that was practical and robust. Black polymer capping to the top rail and galvanised bar infill created a low maintenance balustrade that could withstand heavy use but was in keeping with the surrounding warehouse.

Staircases Specialising in the bespoke fabrication of mild steel and stainless steel staircases, we are able to offer the complete design and installation package for spiral, helical and straight flight constructed staircases, incorporating treads, risers and landings in steel, glass or timber.

Canopies Canopies can be designed and manufactured in mild steel, stainless steel, glass or other specified material to create a visual impact or a feature to any building. Insisting on quality throughout, and using products such as glass manufactured to the highest BS standards, we are able to achieve designs that are practical, unique and long lasting.

Juliet balconies Juliet balconies allow an open atmosphere to any room and provide safety without compromising the panoramic views. Our options combine the necessary regulations and incorporate aesthetically pleasing designs that can be manufactured in mild steel, stainless steel, glass or other specified material.

Infill options Choosing the right infill is made easier by having such a wide range of design options, materials and colours to source from. We can offer stainless steel wires, glass, vertical and horizontal mid-rails, perforated panels, twisted bar or mesh infill to help create the finishing touch to any project.

Architectural metalwork Design and fabrication of architectural metalwork is our speciality, and by being able to offer such a diverse range of items such as lift pressings, monitor surrounds, access ladders and railings, we are able to help create the required effect or focus point to any project.
