ST. BONIFACE CHURCH
WORLD MISSION SUNDAY: Thanks for your
participation! Thank you for answering
your baptismal call to witness for mission
on World Mission Sunday! Our parish
offered $1721.00 to the Society for the
Propagation of the Faith for the missionary work of the
Church. May God bless you for your generous
missionary spirit!
JUST A REMINDER: Daylight Savings Time ends
on the first Sunday of November. On
Sunday, November 1 at 2:00 AM we “Fall back” by setting our clock
back one hour. Therefore at 2:00 AM on Sunday
morning November 1 the time becomes 1:00 AM.
You will have an extra hour to sleep. Remember to
change your clock so that you will be on time for
Mass.
All Saints' Day is a solemn holy day of the Catholic
Church celebrated annually on November 1. The day is
dedicated to the saints of the Church, that is, all those
who have attained heaven. It should not be confused
with All Souls' Day, which is observed on November 2,
and is dedicated to those who have died and not yet
reached heaven.
MONTH OF THE ROSARY: During the month of
October, we will be making rosaries available to
encourage parishioners to pray the rosary.
Praying the rosary leads us to Jesus through
Mary. If you have an old rosary that is worn
or beyond repair, feel free to drop it off at
the Parish Office for reverential disposal. We
encourage everyone to say the Rosary daily
ALL SOULS DAY ENVELOPES can be found at the doors of church, and in your box of envelopes on
November 2. Take the envelope, write the names of
those you want remembered on it, and enclose your
contribution. A Mass will be said for them once a
week during the month of November.
ST. VINCENT de PAUL: A group of men founded
the St. Boniface SVdP Conference on October 29,
1905. 115 years later a group of men and women,
Active and Associate Vincentians, continue to strive
for holiness, enjoy fellowship and serve the poor in the
Northside area. We appreciate your prayers and your
generous material support of our ministry. To learn
more or to join our Conference, please, call Barb
Luken at 541-1563.
IS 2020 TAKING ITS TOLL ON YOU? Taking five
minutes of your day to pray can help improve you
physically, mentally, and spiritually. Find a
comfortable place in your home. At times, distracting
thoughts might pop up in your mind, but just let them
float by and turn your attention back to your prayer.
Praying daily, even just for a few minutes, will
strengthen your spirit.
NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING: New Live

November 8, from 1-5 p.m. Registration is required at
www.mercymcauley.org/OpenHouse. When you

time.
VIRTUAL OPEN HOUSE FOR VOCATION
AWARENESS WEEK: The men and women
religious in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati are coming
together to provide a virtual Open House to their
communities during the first week of November during
Vocation Awareness Week Nov. 1-7. Whether you
have been thinking about being a priest, brother or
sister for one week or for one year, this is a great
opportunity to meet and greet some awesome religious
from different communities and learn basic information
about Consecrated Life. For more information and the
schedule of the different sessions, go to
www.tinyURL.com/CincyVAW
VOCATION VIEW: “You turned from idols to serve
the living and true God.” Destroy the false gods in your
life which prevent you from serving the one true God.
