GENERAL BODY MEETING NOTICE AND AGENDA ON PAGE --- 30

As you all know we are going through very challenging time of Coronavirus pandemic. Our temple wasclosed for quite some time. Although temple was closed for devotees, but our priests were coming to thetemple every day to do the necessary seva for our deities. Our office bearers, managers. executive committeemembers and trustees were working hard to manage the temple activities. We were telecasting themahamangal aarti live every day. Our priests conducted all the monthly and special events. Our VidhyaVikas management team and teachers were very articulated and conducted activities through Zoom. Wehave been following CDC and local guidelines very strictly to keep our devotees, management, priests andstaff very safe.

Due to Coronavirus pandemic and social distance requirements we had to postpone March and June GeneralBody meetings. We will have a General Body meeting at later time when Covid -19 situation permits. We are slowly but safely opening up the temple for limited services and daily dharshan. Our temple runs onyour generous donation. While temple was closed inflow of the donation dried up significantly. However, ourfixed costs remained the same. I request all of you to donate as your situation permits.

I want to thank all the priest, managers, VV team, executive committee and trustee board for their hardwork. Please stay safe and May Goddess Mahalakshmi continue to bless and guide us all.Best wishes,

We started this year with great enthusiasm towork as a team with all current year 2020,entire elected board. All are very muchsupportive. Entire current year 2020, electedboard along with management/priests/volunteers are very much supportive andappreciated and thanks to all.

January, February and almost March 2020,with all major events like New YearCelebrations 2020, Bhogi, Lohri, MakaraSankranti, Vasanta Panchami, Mahashivrathri,

and Holi Ka Dahan and with all daily, weekly & monthly events are performedand celebrated with a grand success by raising good funds for our temple.It’s a great team work. Thanks to all and all our temple devotees for theirdonations and sponsorships.

We are blessed with almighty Lord, our temple is safe.

Unfortunately Mother Nature the entre Globe is in difficult situation, a GlobalThreat Covid-19. I don’t agree it’s Mother Nature? It is something we allknow….an intentional threat to Globe on mankind. You all know what itis……Nobody on this planet expected this DANGER on mankind. This isreally a painful situation for all those families who lost their love ones for noreason on this planet. Still this danger is growing every day. We request allon this planet, please follow all necessary precautions and mandatoryguidelines for sure, to be safe. We don’t know how long will this pandemicsituation be…not looking that good for sure for another one or two years.…Weall pray for sure to knock this CORONA DOWN AND ELIMINATE IT FROM THEPLANET TO SAVE MANKIND. From March 20th, 2020, our temple is closed fordevotees for further notice. We opened from Sunday June 7th, 2020, fordevotees for Darshan only….and continued to open on weekends Sat & Sunmorning hours for Darshan only….Where devotees have to follow all themandatory guidelines. But temple is running and performing all daily, weeklyand monthly temple all events virtually/remote on our temple face book.Mahamangal Aarathi live at 12 noon and 7 pm everyday all seven days. FromJune third week, we started private pujas in the temple in temple hours onlyand devotees have to follow the necessary precautions and mandatoryguidelines. We request all devotees to sponsor/donate for all temple calendarevents during this pandemic situation Covid-19. We thank you all for yoursupport. Time fly fast we have finished already six months.

Regarding Vidya Vikas, associated with our temple for years for ourcommunity, parents & their children and young generation from age 3 to 16,to keep our culture/religion alive, teaches, Hindu religious classes, Languageclasses, Classical Dances & many more high-school/college/careereducational classes. Now due to pandemic covid-19, all classes excellentlyconducting and coordinating virtual/remote by Vidya Vikas admin. Parents/Students and teachers are very much appreciated for their time and dedicationsupporting our temple/Vidya Vikas and Vidya Vikas admin. Hats off to all. Bigapplaud to all.

Regarding General Body Meeting. Due to pandemic Covid-19, Scheduledmeetings, Sunday March 22nd, 2020 & Sunday June 14 th, 2020 werepostponed for further notice. We request all members, if at all you have toview the financial report of year 2019, call the temple management andfollow the procedure to view.

I am looking forward to my best to maintain and keep piece & harmony andwork as a team and celebrate all wonderful HINDU spiritual GREAT calendarevents and festivals every year with pride.

SOME DOs AND DONTs WHILE VISITING THE TEMPLE

We Hindus believe that a temple is an abode of God and a visit to the temple is a visit to the God. As such, weshould be very careful about our behavior in the presence of the Deity. The following are some guidelines.

• Wear clean and proper attire that is appropriate for the temple visit.• Leave shoes outside so as not to drag dust and dirt in to the temple.• Do not go to the temple empty handed. Take some fruit or flowers to offer to the Deity.• Approach the Deity with respect.• Do not engage in loud conversation in the presence of the Deity.• At all times show respect to the Deity.• Be courteous to other devotees.• Maintain silence as much as possible while inside the temple.• Do not let your children run around inside the temple.• Help the management in keeping the temple premises clean.• Follow the parking rules.• Keep even temperament and cheerful countenance.• Do not smoke or consume alcohol or eat non-vegetarian food on the premises.
