PROGRAM UNDER DEVELOPMENT:
CHILDREN, STARS AND CONSTELLATIONS FROM CHINA
(from November 2006 to May 2007)
In Florence there is a very big number of Chinese children getting
their education in Italian schools
The program is meant to foster multicultural relationship by using
the sky, the miths and the traditions associated with astronomy
The Programm will start with the temporary installation of the
StarLab Planetarium in an elementary school in Florence, where we will
present the Chinese mithology using a special cylinder provided by
Learning Technologies
During following months teachers and children will develop
additional material and will prepare a final event, to be presented to the
public at the end of the school year
