Combat FearWe live in an increasingly
fearful world. The spirit of feardoes not come from God. 2Timothy 1:7 – For God has notgiven us a spirit of fear, but ofpower and of love and of asound mind. (NKJV)
The more we dwell on fear, the more it becomes reality. Wemust refuse to worry about what“may” happen. God is going tosee us through. Even in themiddle of the night whileeveryone else is sleeping, Godis there and loves us so much.Jeremiah 33:3 - Call to me andI will answer you. I’ll tell youmarvelous and wondrous thingsthat you could never figure outon your own. (MSG)
All throughout the Bible, weare instructed not to fear. All theinstances in Scripture where itinstructs, “do not fear,” “fearnot,” and “be not afraid” total365 occurrences--one occurrencefor every day of the year. Couldthis be God’s way of telling usthere will never be a day wewould have a valid reason tobe afraid?
