Instructor: Sıla Karakaya
Production design is to develop a specific visual language for a given script, text or content for film. It aims to create a unique look via conceptualizing of film elements such as location, décor, props, light, costumes, hair and make up, color and texture to tell the story to its true essence. It aims to translate the words of a script to build a material world for the story. This unique language leads the director, producer, cinematographer, art director along with the rest orest of the production team to communicate by staying on the same page visually.
