What is the DiVal glove testing process?

Why should you bring your gloves to DiVal?

Industry leading 3 day turnaround

Complete inventory of new gloves to replace any that fail test

All new gloves receive a “fresh” test date to insure maximum life until next test is required

Computerized test results

Retest notification via email notifying customer of gloves coming due for test

Name stamping (stamp individuals name on the gloves)

Storage of customers gloves at DiVal to facilitate testing and delivery to multiple sites

Electrical gloves received at DiVal Safety for testing are logged into our state of the art database determining the appropriate test voltage and tracking the gloves through the testing procedure.

The gloves are then washed, visually inspected and inflated to check for pin holes. Each glove is then electrically tested to the specified voltage based on the class of glove as follows:

Class 00 - Max. use voltage of 500 volts AC, proof tested to 2500 volts ACClass 0 - Max. use voltage of 1000 volts AC, proof tested to 5000 volts ACClass 1 - Max. use voltage of 7500 volts AC, proof tested to 10000 volts ACClass 2 - Max. use voltage of 17000 volts AC, proof tested to 20000 volts ACClass 3 - Max. use voltage of 26500 volts AC, proof tested to 30000 volts ACClass 4 - Max. use voltage of 36000 volts AC, proof tested to 40000 volts AC

Gloves failing visual inspection or electrical test are marked as failed and their fingers are cut to prevent future use.

After testing, gloves are dried and then stamped with the date tested, due date for next test, or any other custom stamp alternative you prefer.

Once the gloves are stamped, they receive a final inspection and are then placed in a plastic bag with their computerized test results.

Upon the arrival of electrical blankets at DiVal for testing, they are logged into our state of the art database to ensure accuracy and consistency when determining the life of the blanket.Blankets are then washed, visually inspected and then electri-cally tested to the specified voltage required for each blanket class as follows:

Class 00 - Max. use voltage of 500 volts AC, proof tested to 2500 volts ACClass 0 - Max. use voltage of 1000 volts AC, proof tested to 5000 volts ACClass 1 - Max. use voltage of 7500 volts AC, proof tested to 10000 volts ACClass 2 - Max. use voltage of 17000 volts AC, proof tested to 20000 volts ACClass 4 - Max. use voltage of 36000 volts AC, proof tested to 40000 volts AC

Blankets failing visual inspection or electrical testing are marked as failed and are cut in half to prevent future use.

After testing, blankets are dried and then stamped with the date tested, due date for next test, or any other custom stamp alternative you prefer.Once the blankets are stamped, they receive a final inspection and then are placed in a plastic back with their computerized test results.
