Head NailsThese are wire nails with heads used for securing lumber to-gether.

GutteringThis product is usually manufactured using aluminum sheeting and more recently PVC. It is placed at the eave of the roof from one end to another to collect the water runoff. This water is then transferred to drain pipes usually placed at the corners of the building, which carry the water to the ground. ARC offers a customization service for this product.

FasciaIt serves as a protective cover from natural elementsUsually manufactured using aluminum sheeting and is used lengthwise on zinc to cover the area where the last zinc sheet used, meets the fascia board at a 90 degrees angle. It serves as a protective cover from natural elements. ARC offers a cus-tomization service for this product.

Continuous Roofing CoilThis metal sheeting can be used for many things including making baking pans, gutter beds, ridge capping, Zinc and in areas where zinc has to be molded into a particular form.

Sizes Available: continuous roofing is packaged in 50 and 100 foot rolls.

FeltUsed in roofing as a water resistant membrane that is applied to the sarking of the roof, as added protection from leaks that may occur after construction. Felt usually comes on rolls and is available in various grades, which are used depending on the final type of roof finish, for example: clay tiles, fiberglass shin-gles, metal roofing tiles, cedar shingles.

Flash BondUsed in roofing to repair minor leaks on various forms of roof-ing, zinc and concrete slab. Flash Band is also used on the head of zinc nails to minimize the occurrence of leaks in that area.

TREATED LUMBERThis lumber is pressure treated with agents that prevent infestation, often referred to as Wolmanized lumber in dimen-sional lumber (2” and up) and boards (1”) in several lengths. Available in boards (1”) and dimensional lumber (2” and up) in several lengths. ARC’s Lumber Treatment Plant is the first of its kind in Jamaica and has the capacity to treat approximately 500,000 BF of lumber per 40-hour week.

CLINKERThis is a weather resistant board used on the exterior of build-ings it is a specially treated board designed to be used on the exterior of buildings for maximum weather resistance where timber is a preferred over concrete and other weather resistant material.

FENCE POSTUsed for fencing,and decorative purposes.

ROUGH LUMBERRough lumber is usually untreated but is also available treated. It’s offered in 1 × 3, 1 × 6 and 2 × 4 dimensions with 1 × 3 being the most commonly used size for supporting zinc, aluminum, steel sheeting, constructing form work, and setting out area to be excavated for the foundation of buildings and constructing temporary structures. 2 × 4 rough untreated is used in the same way as 1 × 3 rough untreated. 4 × 4 size lumber is used mainly for making posts and for fencing.
