PRINT THIS DOCUMENT
INSTRUCTIONS
The first thing you must do is download this document onto your computer. Next, you must print out
all the pages. This is a workbook meant only for practicing Arabic letters. Each letter has its own table.
You must write each letter within the squares provided in their initial, medial, and final forms. Many Arabic
letters are written in two or three different ways depending on whether the letter at the beginning, middle
or end of a word. The three forms of each letters are called initial (first letter of the word), medial (in the
middle of the word) or final (last letter of the word). In Arabic, everything is written in cursive and
connected. Some letters do not change and are never connected to other letters.
With this workbook, you will get the hang of writing the Arabic alphabet. It may seem a wkward at first;
the more you practice writing the better you will improve. The goal is that you become so comfortable
writing Arabic letters that you eventually start writing Arabic words.
In order for this workbook to be effective, you must use it every day. No exceptions.
