APPLICATION AquataFlex 505 has been specifically developed for heated, high- pressure plural component spraying equipment capable of maintaining 2500 psi and 120°F temperatures at all times. Heated hose is typically required. Contact the manufacturer for details on material delivery systems.

SURFACE PREPARATION Prior to coating, the substrate must be prepared in a manner that provides a uniform, clean, sound, neutralized surface suitable for the specified coating. The substrate must be free of all contaminants, such as oil, grease, rust, scale or deposits. In general, coating performance is proportional to the degree of surface preparation.

Steel, Immersion Service: Minimum SSPC SP1 Solvent Cleaning followed by SSPC SP10 Near White Blast Cleaning, resulting in a recommended anchor profile of 3.0-5.0 mils.

Steel, Atmospheric/Non-Immersion Service: SSPC SP 1 (same as Immersion Service) followed by Minimum SSPC SP1 Solvent Cleaning followed by SSPC SP6 Commercial Blast Cleaning, resulting in a recommended anchor profile of 2.5- 5.0 mils.
