Moran Yacht & Ship continue to raise the bar for 2011. We are pleased to announce the recent delivery of the 69m (226 ft.) Lurssen “HERMITAGE” to her new owners. They are delighted that their dream has been turned into a reality. This beautiful yacht can be seen cruising the waters of the Mediterranean this summer.

We are also pleased to announce the recent launch of the 85m (278 ft.) Lurssen “VALARIE”, without a doubt this yacht will be another head turner when seen cruising the Mediterranean this summer. On the brokerage side, recent sales include the 46m (150 ft.)Palmer Johnson “HOKULANI” to a very knowledgeable yachtsman. Also sold was the 48m (157 ft.) Bloom & Van Breemen “FLYING EAGLE” as well as the sale of the 38m (124 ft.) Heesen “ALUMERCIA.”

At the recent Palm Beach Boat Show Moran Yacht & Ship had the opportunity to show the 57.3m (188 ft.) Abeking & Rasmussen “EXCELLENCE III.” This is the first time that this beautiful yacht has been displayed at a boat show. To the delight of her captain & crew, she received glowing reviews from everyone who viewed the yacht.

The newest additions to the brokerage fleet maintain the high level of excellence that Moran Yacht & Ship has presented year after year. The 75.6m (248 ft.) ALFA NERO FEATUREALFA NERO’s Owner, designers, and shipyard have put so much into the yacht that impartial assessment becomes a difficult task. Yachting awards bring an independent viewpoint, and ALFA NERO has won just about every major award in the yachting world.

The 82m (269ft) ALFA NERO was built in 2007 by the Oceanco shipyard in Holland. She features accommodation for 12 guests in 6 well-appointed and spacious staterooms.

Her stunning black hull has a staggering 1,200 square metres of space in a layout that is totally different from any other contemporary yacht. With so much length, there is more than enough space for grand interiors. With so much space, there is no need for the density that dictates conventional designs.

Freedom to flow is the result. Free-flowing lines curve into an aft deck, the like of which is unprecedented, possessing indulgent levels of open space in the manner of a grand villa with a terrace by the sea. Interior styling is exhilarating, with modern art set to a marine theme.
