Are you perplexed about energizing your staff?
With today’s uncertain economy, managers are facing change as they have never known. Many businesses are having to cut costs and personnel. How do we get to the heart of the employees to really give them the inspiration they need to be less worried and more productive. Change is always intimidating and often times it causes fear. Fear leads to many forms of expression: discouragement, judgmental, disinterest, depression and most of all creates poor performance. For an organization facing these problems within their team , a simple cost effective remedy can often be found through a motiva-
tional speaker who can breathe that essential spark of life back into the employees, managers and the business itself. We have a dear friend of WorkShop who does just that. Inspired by her own daughters’ journey and fight against Leukemia, she continues to chose victory when faced with adversity. She is a published Author of “Heavenly Birth” and inspires everyone she meets with her “We Get To” attitude.

Turn On the Power of People and Ideas.
Imagine a group of people who are excited
and engaged, working together toward a
common goal. Imagine a place where peo-
ple are tapping into the power of their own
creative thinking, sharing information and
ideas, and applying this work to challenges.
This is WorkShop, the creative workplace.
Creative work is the work that grows your
business, team or organization. Creative
Work is a way of working that brings
together creative thinking, teamwork, shared
vision, and ownership to produce break-
through accomplishments. Invent your own
solutions.
Have you ever wondered what to say...... I just read this in the Harvard Business Review.......
When someone shows up late to a meeting or makes
a comment that makes you uncomfortable, it can be
difficult to decide if it's a big enough deal to address or
if you should let it go. In situations like these, try
using the "rule of three." The first time someone does
something that makes you uncomfortable, take notice
of your discomfort. The second time, acknowledge that
the first time was not an isolated incident and that
there may be a pattern emerging. The third time it's
time to speak up. Tell the person that you've noticed
something three times and you want to discuss it with
him. This simple rule can both help you determine
what's worth raising and hold you back from jumping
on every single issue.

Teambuilding Fun at February/March 2010
"Before I brought my team into The "Workshop" for our day of Team building and team growth, we came in as 8 individuals who happened to be on a team. Because of our experience at "Workshop" we are now a true team who is working together towards our common goals. Workshop allowed us a respite to learn about each other's strengths and weaknesses and how we can grow together. Stephanie Ringer used fun and innovative ways to gel a good team into a great team! I would recommend the Workshop and Stephanie's system to any company whether you are looking for a place to grow your team off property or whether you are looking for different ideas for your next big meeting. The best thing is that you can come to her or she can come to you! Our sales team works with groups every day and since our experience at Workshop, we have recommended Stephanie's Company as another option for on or off premise team building opportunities. Workshop is fantastic!!" Chris Watson Director of Sales and Marketing Hyatt Regency Louisville

Just One Word……
Some projects are made more difficult because of our
interpretation of what we think someone might be
wanting. Then we have a tendency to over think the
project. Here is something fun for your team.
Using the below listed letters, your team should be
able to create just one word.
You can use index cards and place the large block
letters on each card or you can use pieces of wood,
like a scrabble piece. Make it fun and use children’s
building blocks for color.
