SMSCA Secondary Counselor of the Year!!
Congrats to High School Counselor, Jodie Miller, for being
selected the SMSCA Secondary Counselor of the Year. Jodie
was recognized at the Spring Brunch on March 28th.
Top Notch Student Success
Robert Broadstreet, Benjamin Estes, Brianna Sawyers, and Sadie Evans won the Precision 3-Position National Air Rifle Champion-ship at Camp Perry, OH March 22. They finished with a team score of 4660 which was 20 points ahead of 2nd place.
Congrats to Hannah Cook, Ivy Reynolds, and Sasha Robinson for being selected to the COC Large
Basketball All-Conference Teams. Hannah was 1st Team, Ivy received Honorable Mention, and Sasha was named to the All Defensive Team.
Congrats to OHS Winter Percussion for receiving the GOLD medal at the Mid Continent Colorguard
Association Percussion Championships on March 29. Our Winter Guards also did well placing 4th in their
Regional classes.

April 5th.
National Forensic League District Tournament Results. Mason Kirkland placed 2nd and qualified for Nationals in
Dramatic Interpretation. Beau Berry and Jazmynn
Grounds tied for 3rd place (and on judge’s preference took 4th place) and claimed the 1st alternate spot in Duo
Interpretation.
Choir State Qualifiers:
Mulan, Jr. raised $5,800 for Care to Learn.
This is the largest amount they have ever
raised, bringing the total to $14,000 raised
for Care to Learn by the drama department.
