Performing Arts Term 2

This term marks the beginning of our Performing Arts units. Lessons have already begun and all the students thoroughly enjoyed participating in various activities. These high-energy sessions focus on many elements of drama including sound, space, place, rhythm, timing and audience engagement. This week our up and coming thespians enjoyed taking their own headshots. They have turned out terrific!

India Exchange Students Our global partnership has been another huge success this year; with students and teachers visiting from Madurai, India. They have enjoyed excursions to the Melbourne CBD, Gravity Zone, Melbourne Museum, Moonlight Sanctuary and a tour of our beautiful Frankston city. The Indian students demonstrated cultural dances and shared many stories with our students. We thank everyone involved in this cultural exchange!

4/5/6S and our Indian exchange students attended the Melbourne Museum and special Indigenous lunch. Thank you again to ARDOCH for helping with this excursion.

The P-3 students participated in the Easter Bonnet Parade last Term. It was great to see all the wonderful creations. Thank you to the PTF for running the Easter Raffle.

Our P-2 travelled to Healsville Sanctuary to see a range of animals. A special thanks to ARDOCH for helping to make this excursion possible. They had a great time!

Track Tryouts STEM Last term our 3-6 students participated in the tryouts for District Track Events. Well done to everyone for giving it a go. Congratulations to those who have made it to the next stage.

Our second term of STEM is well underway. The students love all the different activities including the use of several different types of robotic tools.
