The Living Stones April 5, 2016 TRAVEL The last week of March and the month of April always find us bustling from one location to another as we spend time in the US. It doesn’t seem to matter how long we are able to stay, we are always filling every day and week with the many things to do while in our beautiful home country. This year we throughly enjoyed ministering in several churches in South Carolina. JUST SAY "YES" TO JESUS Exciting things happen when you truly say "yes" to Jesus with all your heart. Will there be tests and trials? Oh yes. We have an enemy, but we have a bigger, more powerful Lord who equips us, enables us, and then stands in for us telling us "the battle is the Lord’s!" It is not really a fight, because if you speak with faith in that name, the most powerful name in the universe, the name of Jesus, the devil is defeated. We have been given heavenly armor and weapons that are deadly to the enemy and his demons. Our weapons are not carnal, fleshly, but mighty spiritual weapons. A description of the armor can be found in Ephesians 6, and 2 Corinthians 10 tells us about the weapons. Sometimes we forget to use our weapons and we get knocked down. Even if we do, we must get up again because we fight until we win. We fight the good fight of faith, and a good fight is one that you win. So say YES and run to the battle!!! We are so excited that he will be joining us for a couple of weeks in May to help us host a team from his home church in Bradenton, Florida. There will be so many people and animals excited to see him when he gets there. The hard part will be letting him leave again! Restoration Ministries www.myrestorationranch.com

MANGOS, MANGOS, MANGOS Restoration Ranch is a mango farm, and the Lord put a mango farmer/exporter in our life. He buys our crop in advance each year, and then sends his workers to harvest the mangos. A few years ago he agreed to help us improve the crop produced on the ranch by changing to a mango he exports to Spain. He said it would help us generate more income and provide him with more mangos to send to Spain. !

So the first step was planting 500 seedlings, and some of those little trees are producing fruit this year. It will be exciting when our new variety of mangos are ready to eat. It is a large mango, with smooth and sweet insides. If you visit us during harvesting season you can eat all you want!!

The second step of improving our farm crop is to graft in this same export variety to the existing trees, eventually having most of the farm producing this mango. To graft in a new variety, the top of the tree is cut off, leaving about three feet of the trunk, and in a few months, it begins to grow suckers out of the top. Two or three of those suckers are grafted with the new variety of fruit and before long the tree begins producing a new kind of mango. It has a fully developed root system and is disease resistance. It’s an amazing illustration of how we are grafted into the body of Christ!!

We get to see the Lord work in so many different ways. And we are thankful for this knowledgeable mango farmer who has a heart to help us and Restoration Ranch.!

FoxFamily News We have been living in the DR now for 19 years, and one of the things we have learned is that everything has a season.

When people come to the foreign mission field, they come for many reasons, many time frames, and with various goals. But they all come ready to serve God with all their hearts. Some come for a life time, some for a season, and some intermittently over decades, but some things remain the same: these individuals become part of a family. John and Jamie Fox and their sons, Hunter and Logan, served wonderfully here in the Dominican Republic and have become lifetime family, not only to us, but to quite a few Dominican nationals as well. With gratitude for their service, a heart that will miss their presence at RR, and excitement at what God has in store for their future, we had a farewell dinner with them before they headed back to Michigan. And we look forward to seeing them again soon.
