ELPA

Window closes end of day Wednesday 4/15.

As of 4/7: 52,472 submitted of 53,144 started.

ELPAs open for more than 45 days but not submitted will expire. Those tests are generally not reopened.

TAs or other staff can run reports to find out about any students who are in danger of not completing their ELPAs due to the expiration issue.

ELPA: Completion + Scoring

Sometimes a student will complete all questions but not finalize by clicking the “Submit My Test” button. As long as all questions are completed, the test will auto-submit on 4/15/15 at 11:59 PM. “Auto-submit” ELPA results will be in the 5/22 batch.

100% Completion Rule: Only fully completed submitted ELPAs are scored. Students who did not finish all items on the test will

not receive score reports.

ELPA: Batch Dates

April 10: February results/Batch #2 posted to portal.

May 8: March results/Batch #3 posted to portal.

May 22: Final results (April 1 through 15th)/Batch #4 posted to portal.

Smarter Balanced: Updates

SB test window is now open: March 10-June12 As of April 7:

o ELA CATs started: 57,222

o Math CATs started: 9,028

o ELA PTs started: 20,511

o Math PTs started: 4,391

o ELA CATs completed: 30,597

o Math CATs completed: 4,256

o ELA PTs completed: 11,613

o Math PTs completed: 3,584

Smarter Balanced: TA Interface

Selecting the correct test in the TA Interface All interim assessments will be at the very bottom

of the scroll-down menu and are denoted with a prefix of IAB or ICA.

Maintain default order and do not sort by subject to keep interim and summative assessments separate and easier to distinguish.

Test Reset Policy Tests inadvertently completed beyond question 15

will not be reset.
