The Catholic Appeal 2016 The Catholic Appeal support many ministries that have a profound influence on the lives of so many by helping to pass on our faith to young, new Catholics, by supporting the priests, deacons, seminarians and other religious and all those who offer their lives to serve us. These ministries make our parishes and the many agencies more efficient and effective through the training and support services they provide to local parishes and Pastors. All parishes are asked to raise a minimum amount or “assessment” equal to the equivalent of 8% of base revenue. Rebates are earned by parishes that exceed their Catholic Appeal assessment. If we do not meet our Goal the Parish still has to pay the difference. If you were unable to make your pledge at Mass, please take a pledge form from the back of the church or pledge online at bostoncatholicappeal.org. Thank you for your prayers for a successful Appeal.

Campaña Católica 2016 La Campaña Católica apoya a muchos ministerios que tienen una profunda influencia en las vidas de tantas per-sonas transmitiendo la fe a los jóvenes, los nuevos católi-cos, mediante el apoyo a los sacerdotes, diáconos, semi-naristas y otros religiosos y todos los que ofrecen sus vidas al servicio de los demás. Estos ministerios hacen que nuestras parroquias y las muchas agencias sean más eficientes y eficaz a través de los servicios de formación y de apoyo que proveen a las parroquias locales y párro-cos. Todas las parroquias tienen una meta que alcanzar la cual es equivalente al 8% de sus ingresos. Cada parro-quia que sobre pasa esta meta recibe un bono. Thomas Hall at 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This engaging program takes you on a tour of the whole Bible, helping you understanding its central message, from Genesis to Revelation. Catholic Appeal For the Catholic Appeal 2015, Our Lady of Lourdes did not meet the Pledge amount goal or the member goal. It is impera-tive that we meet our yearly goal, if we do not meet the goal we are responsible for the difference. We have the right to apply for abatement and we always do. We are usually granted a full or partial abatement at their discretion. This year we requested a full abatement for 2015 Appeal, but were given a partial abate-ment of 20% or 6,742.00 resulted in a payment of $5,393.60. Our Catholic 2015 pledge goal was $15,487.00, and pledge members 84. They received $8,745.00 pledge dollar amount and 55 pledge members, with consequential difference of $6,742 to be paid to RCAB less %20 of partial abatement, or 5,393.00 to be paid in four (4 )installments. We must try to ex-ceed this year dollar contribution and also the member partici-pation. If we exceed our goal we will be reimburse for the dif-ference.

The Ignatian Volunteer Corps New England Is celebrating its fifth annual Madonna Della Strada Ceremony on Sunday, April 10, from 4-7 pm at Bos-ton College High School.
