LETTS LETTER Upcoming Dates: ~April 7-Field Trip to Jules Collins Smith Museum ~April 10-All Pro Dads ~April 14- Louies Chicken Finger night ~April 17- Weather Make up day-No School ~April 29- In School Field Trip- Raptor Center What did we learn this week? Reading: We have been learning about Easter. Our sight words for the week were his and her. We learned about initial blends. We practiced writing cards/letters to special people. Math: We reviewed adding, subtracting, measuring, and 3D shapes. On Friday we graphed jelly beans by color. Discovery: We made a Bengal Tiger for our Kindergarten zoo out of paper Mache. All kindergarten students toured each classroom to learn about different zoo animals. Next week: Reading: Letters: Final blends Sight words: there Math: Money Discovery: Butterflies Each student had a job in making our Bengal Tiger. We researched the Bengal tiger through the internet and books. We made webs and charts about the Bengal tiger. Then we created a life size Bengal Tiger. The students did an excellent job!     What did we learn this week?
