APRIL 2014
Alcock, Janaway, Killingbeck and Viney Safari
2014 SAFARI SEASON
PSSA once again had the pleasure for the 13th year in succession, to host Peter Alcock, Phil Janaway, John Killingbeck and Andy Viney. What an honor to be able to hunt with people that have
become way more than a client on safari! As close as the friendship maybe, never cross that fine line between business and the rewards such deep friendships build.Trophy hunting completed years ago, now it is for the pure enjoyment of being in the African bush, the use of double rifles, close encounters and the simple enjoyment of hunting! Thanks so very much to all of you and see you next April.

Wingshooting kicked off on the 1st May. To Paul and all of you who participated in the annual boys shoot, thanks so very much for a great couple of days. To see young “men” take
to the sport with such enthusiasm is a rare sight today. Young Matty, you go my man, you are the future for all of us. PSSA youngest client!

JUNE 2014
Bullough, Bowes-Lyon, Fitzalan-Howard, Laing Wingshoot
2014 SAFARI SEASON
Wingshoots are a stressful event for any outfitter that offers them, no question. Wild birds are not compliant and to get them to merely co-operate in a manner that appeases the
guns, takes huge effort and understanding of the quarry. PSSA has sort of, mastered this along with Wiesman, Morgan,Rick,RJ and Albert. All landowners whom have come to understand the art of wingshooting and what our clients are happy with. A huge thanks to you guys for the effort you put in during and prior to the season to ensure good birds. Very few understand the effort that is put into a successful wingshoot.
This past shoot was something special,to my friends from England, Fin, Tom, Geordie B-L and Geordie L a massive thank you for your attitude, effort and the sheer amount of fun we had. Fabulous shooting, lunches in the bush, Johnnie Walker Gold Reserve was an absolute winner, piano duets with myself and Geordie L ( we figured out the lyrics to “ house of the rising sun” ). Again, food, wine, French Champagne, guineas, francolin, geese, rockies and fine company all combined to create the very reason why we do this over and over again, the common love for a sport that many will never have the privilege to partake in nor sadly, understand. As life is a kaleidoscope of experiences, so too is the art of safari, never can one aspect create the reason we hunt and I thank all of you for giving those of us that offer such safaris, the opportunity to create that special experience.

Marko, Mika and Mattie Lehtonen (Nesbitt Hunting)
2014 SAFARI SEASON
The first safari for the season in Matetsi Unit 5. Thanks to Mika, Marko and Mattie, for once again entrusting their safari to us. Lance Nesbitt of Nesbitt Hunting, thanks for the support.
Early season and late rains made buffalo hunting a challenge but between Lance and Dean Kendal, as always, they made it happen. Well done. Now for the next years lion, Lance.
