April 2011 April is Autism awareness month, and as the mother of a child with Aspergers, it’s particularly meaningful for me. I created my photograph, “Different is Beautiful,” as a message of love to both my son and to other children with differences. I hope you’ll take a moment to read the Story Behind the Picture if you aren’t yet familiar with it.

I’m very excited to be headed to London and other beautiful spots in England in the middle of this month! I will be delivering “Different is Beautiful” to my alma mater Wolfson College at the University of Oxford for an exhibit beginning in May, and it will then be held in Wolfson’s permanent art collection.

My website and Etsy shop will still be open for orders, but nothing will be shipped from April 14th until I return the week of April 25th.
