INTRODUCTION TO THE GOALS FOR THE CHILEAN ROADMAP IN CIRCULAR ECONOMY

The circular economy in Chile is underway to drive the country towards a more sustainable, fair and participatory development, moving towards a society that uses, consumes and produces in a sustainable and conscious way and creating opportunities for people and organisations in the country.

With the roadmap we hope to achieve 4 main axes by 2040, with an intermediate goal by 2030, in which more value is generated to what we do, with constant innovation.

Circular Opportunities: generation of jobs in activities such as waste management, logistics, remanufacturing and repair.

Circular Citizenship: reduction of solid waste generation per capita.

Circular Production: reducing waste generation and increasing recycling rates.

Quality of Life: eliminating micro-landfills and generating wealth by recycling materials.
