11/19/15 Applying for a Temporary Resident Visa Online in Canada If you are already in Canada with a valid study permit, you may apply for an extension or a new Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) RV in Canada. You need to 1) submit all required documents only and 2) mail your passport to a designated office in Ottawa after CIC requests for your passport. Application Form, Supporting Documents and Fees (additional documents may be requested): • IMM5257 (Application for Temporary Resident Visa) • Letter of enrolment and an official transcript issued by Centennial College: o Request your letter at the International Offices by completing a Letter Request Form o Request your official transcript from myCentennial • Copy of your study permit • Proof of means of financial support (such as bank statements, proof of education loans) • Copy of Passport (Scanned copy of your photo page and all other pages with stamps and visas. Also include a copy of your current study permit.) • Digital Photo(Click here for photo specifications) • Proof of medical exam (if applicable): o A medical exam may be required depending on your country of residence from the past 12 months and your program of study.
