Sejong Applied Music ProgramExplore K-pop Music

Sejong University now offers the Sejong Applied Music Program, which provides

rigorous and practical education through lectures, recording sessions and concert

workshops.

Korean popular culture, commonly referred to as the Korean Wave or Hallyu outside the

country, has become a very prominent and important part of the global mainstream pop

culture over the past decade, with K-pop being the most visible. This certainly makes

studying popular music in Korea singularly attractive to anyone who wishes to a well-

trained musician/entertainer in concurrence with the latest global trends. This Program

offers music courses with a focus on K-pop and cultivating “people of culture and arts”.
