THE ROLE:

We are looking for a highly creative and experienced Applications Technologist who is self-driven and loves developing and collaborating with others in their team to provide technical solutions to customer problems and briefs. This person will be a key part of the NPD process, including supporting the commercialisation of new products and blends with the Production, Sales, Logistics, and Quality teams. Keeping an up-to-date market knowledge of relevant developments and trends, and proactively recommending how these could be utilised within projects and strategy. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

ü Food Technology or Food Science tertiary technical qualification ü Prefer at least 5 years Food industry / Product Development experience ü Project management experience, with proven prioritisation and time management skills ü Ability to undertake independent research, and apply your knowledge across a range of

technologies ü Good team skills – an ability to integrate yourself into project teams, and manage any ambiguity ü Positive can-do attitude ü Passionate about food ingredients and the food industry ü An understanding of FSANZ, HACCP, food safety and health and safety ü Self-motivated to get your ideas to commercialisation, with good attention to detail. ü Good communication (both written and spoken) ü Hates the term “that is not in my job description”.
