Section 12: Employment Experience and Scope of Employment

In your own words, describe the work undertaken by yourself, over the past three years, including tasks undertaken, scope of any projects worked on, skills applied by you and any site addresses where your work may have been undertaken. If you require more space for this section, please attach any additional pages in A4 Format.

PLEASE PROVIDE - Photographs are required to support your employment, scope of work and jobs completed. We require photographs (or short videos) that show you conducting work tasks, using appropriate tools and/or machinery utilising your personal protective equipment (PPE). Video evidence is suggested to provide a more comprehensive overview of these requirements for our assessment process. If you are unable to submit photographic or video evidence due to work restrictions or other reasons please advise in this section in writing.





Section 13: Workplace Project Portfolio

Collect verifiable documentary and photographic evidence in the workplace, to prove your ability to conduct the specific tasks and skills required for recognition of competency.

Provide the following documents for the work they performed: • Manufacturers materials safety data sheets. • The job pack, job cards, specifications, procedure or drawings for the works performed. • Inspection and test plan, quality management plans or other quality control documents. • Operations sheet, inspection or quality assurance report for the works performed – Must contain

your name. • Safe work method statements, Risk Hazards Assessments, Job Safety Analysis or other risk

assessment documents – Must contain your name. • Photos before during and after the completion of the work you have performed unless Workplace

Security, Policies or Procedures prevent the use of cameras in the workplace. • Provide a description of the task performed and include the processes used, materials, and tooling

selection.

Include the Workplace Project Portfolio for your trade. Notes: Must be requested from ACTS and will be emailed to you. Template safety, quality, inspection and permit documents can be provided if required. The task must be witnessed by a Workplace Referee.

New payment arrangements for TSS Program, OSAP and TRS

Commencing on 1 March 2019, applicants for Trades Recognition Australia’s (TRA) TSS Skills Assessment Program (TSS program), Offshore Skills Assessment Program (OSAP) and Trades Recognition Service (TRS) will pay fees for their skills assessment directly to TRA through the TRA Online Portal.

Australian Construction Training Services will provide you with an RTO assessment payment identifier code that must be used to make payment through the TRA Online Portal for the service you require, for example, a documentary evidence assessment, technical assessment, etc.

From 1 March 2019, the following fees apply for the TSS Program, OSAP and TRS. These fees are also available on the TRA website in the Cost Recovery Implementation Statement (CRIS) for the TRA RTO Assessment Services (see TRA News Items, published 4 January 2019).
