1. What is IPDG?Industry Promotion and Development Grant (IPDG) is the grant managed by Malaysian Technical Standards Forum Bhd (MTSFB) which is funded by Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) to develop a Proof of Concept (POC) project.

2. Who is eligible to apply?MTSFB Members only. It can be either Ordinary Member or Associate Member, or both. If you are not a member yet, Join Us now

3. How we want to know if our organisation is already MTSFB members?You may check your membership by referring to our MTSFB website.

4. How much will the Grant cover?Up to RM 350,000.00

5. Are there any restrictions in terms of funding items?The unfunded items are as follows (or similarly);

• Training/Conference/Exhibition• Food & Beverage/Entertainment• Certification/Patent• Registration• Publication• Rental• Consultancy

6. What is the maximum duration of the POC project?The duration of the POC project is not exceed 24 months.

7. How many applications can be submitted?The IPDG is restricted to only one application per person. We also not allow the same applicant participate in

any other application even as a team member.

8. Is there any collaboration required?Since this grant is purpose for POC project, the applicant is compulsory to identify the collaboration partner

which corresponds to the project field. For example, if your proposal is to improvise the strawberry productivity,

your project shall collaborate with strawberry farmers.

9. Can the collaboration be done with an individual party or non registered organisation?MTSFB does not allow you to collaborate with any individual party or any organisation which is not registered with

the authorities.

10. What kind of document is needed for collaboration?The applicant is required to provide the official letter of collaboration from the collaboration partner which

indicates that the collaboration partner agreed to provide their areas as the location for the implementation of

the POC project and this solution will be used in their live operations.
