Who are you?

Can you please stand up and introduce yourself?

TRIP ORIGIN AND DESTINATION SURVEY

What is an Origin and Destination (O/D) Survey?

A Survey Designed to Assist in Determining the Location and Impacts of

Traffic Diversion

The O/D Survey will Identify Travel Patterns

The O/D Survey will Compare Travel Patterns with Those Identified

Previous Surveys and Identify Changes in Travel Patterns

The O/D Survey will Identify the Types of Travelers who Use a

Particular Corridor Based on their Trip Frequency, Trip Length,

Vehicle Occupancy, Time of Travel, Residency and Trip Purpose

TRIP ORIGIN AND DESTINATION SURVEY

What is the importance of an O/D Survey?

The study will help us to:

Understand how a particular corridor is being used by the

public

Identify how a particular corridor is performing in relation to

other facilities

Gauge user-based financing options
