Association of Average Adjusters. Account current. Financial house, often a merchant banker, special­izing in financing foreign trade. Atlantic Container Line Agencies (UK) Ltd. Any fortuitous act which could not have been pre­vented by any amount of human care and fore­thought. A plan to identify each participant in a co­ordinated activity. European agreement on the international carriage of dangerous goods by road. Freight rate based on percentage value of goods shipped. A contract for the carriage of goods by sea for shipment expressed in charter party or bill of lading. One who represents a principal, or buys or sells for another. Air freight consignment note. Method whereby as much information as possible is entered in a 'master document' so that all or part of this information can be reproduced mechanically into individual forms of a similar design.

Also covers the reimportation of such goods. International Convention governing carrier's liab­ility for passengers and their baggage by air. Bond in which cargo owners agree to pay their share in the general average losses, each contribu­tion being determined by the average adjuster. The De­partment of Trade's requirements for dangeraus goods aboard British vessels or any vessels in British ports (largely refers to IMDG Code). Guarantee to Customs of specified amount of duty tobe paid. A place of security approved by HMC&E for the deposit, keeping and securing of goods liable to excise duty without payment of duty.
