4) Run the APP

▶ Enter your smartphone’s Wi-Fi setting. Connect with APPBOT-XXXXXX. (The password is "11112222".)

6) Enter the Password of the Robot

▶ When the connection succeeds, robot will say ‘I’m ready', then enter the password of the robot. (The robot's default password is "1234".)

Warning• Please be sure to install this product for adults.• Please carefully read all instructions in this manual before using, and observe the operation instructions and warnings shown in this manual and the product.• Please install the power cord carefully to the place out of reach of children.• Use the supplied power adapter and cord parts. If you use an unauthenticated adapter, the product may be damaged.• Connect the power adapter only to the rated power supply for home use.• Forcibly inserting the power cord or pulling it by force will cause fire, electric shock or malfunction.• In case of smoke, unusual odor, abnormal noise or if you dropped and it damaged, there is a danger of fire or electric shock, so stop using and be sure to contact the customer center.• Installing on or near equipment generating heat such as a heater may cause fire, electric shock or malfunction.• It causes of fire, electric shock or malfunction when you install in the places such as high place, places with high humidity, direct sunlight etc.• This product is not intended to replace human supervision obligation for children, it does not have the function to instantly inform parents of sudden movements of children.

Cautions• This product requires a wireless router; the wireless router needs to be connected to the Internet.• There is a danger of hacking when connected with an unauthenticated wireless router.• Wireless network connection may fail due to communication environment.• The connection may be delayed or interrupted depending on the situation of other networks or away from the wireless router. • If you set it beside other electronic engineering equipment, such as radio equipment (TV, radio etc), it may be bad influence on the connection. • Disassembling, remodeling, or repairing by yourself may cause fire, electric shock or malfunction. To repair, please contact to Customer Service center or a place of you purchase. • When you wiping the dust, please use soft cloth. Do not use gunpowder or detergent, etc.

▶ When the connection is complete, run the app and press the button.

▶ Select the home wireless router that you want to connect and enter the password of your wireless router.

2) Reset the robot

▶ Press the POWER and RESET buttons at the same time about 2 seconds. After a while, robot will move the head and says “I am ready”.

Precautions on using the robot

! Things to check before connecting the robot

• Please connect the robot with home wireless router which is installed at home after confirming the password.• Please charge it first, before using it.   (The function LED blinks red if the battery is low.)   (Purple charging LED will show when the robot is on the charging station properly.)

• Not supported on PC or laptop! Precautions when entering the Wi-Fi• When you enter the WiFi password, be sure to enter small and capital letters carefully.• When the password is not set on the router, click the OK button.

•For security, please change the robot's password.•To temporarily turn off the robot, press the POWER button only. •Press RESET button to re-install.

• If the following screen appears, the robot is not connected. Please start again from 3.• If the following screen is displayed continuously, please contact to customer center.

How to register multiple smartphones to one robot?

• After registering the first user, please reset the robot for

next device to register. Method of set up is same as the first user.

• The installation location should be the same.

(The home wireless router should not be changed.)

• Two people cannot connect to the robot at the same time.

• Unlimited numbers of the smartphones are available to connect to one robot.

Checklist* To charge, move the robot near the charging station and press . * During charging, the robot does not move back and forth but only the station is available to rotate.

* The best distance for automatic docking is about 50cm and when the charging station is in the center of the screen.* Place the charging station on a flat surface. * If the silicone belt is dirty, robot may fail to dock. Please remove the dust and use.* While the robot is on the charging station, please make sure to check if is showing.

* Be sure to change your password for security reasons.* When you reset the robot, the password initialized to "1234".* When one of the user changes the password, all of the users’ password will change.

* Motion detection will only work if you exit the application.

* When performing motion detection at night, motion detection must be executed after turn on

the night vision function.

* If there is an obstacle within 1M, motion detection message may appear even if there is no motion.

* If you set the pop-up rejection on the mobile phone, the motion detection message will not send to you.

* Only the latest connector will receive the alarm message.

* If the obstacles are nearby the robot, it is possible to fail to stand up automatically.

* In this case, you can move forward or backward in the state of falling and re-execute the function.

* Robot cannot get up if they fall sideways.

* Appbot is a compound word for application + robot and is purely produced in Korea.

* The two-way conversation feature is radio-based. In the ON state, you can only hear the other party's

voice. To speak to the other party, press and hold the button and check if displayed.

* When you’re speaking, hold the button and talk to the microphone.

* When the robot is close to the phone, howling may occur.

* When the smartphone’s volume is off there is no sound.

* It store up to 5 videos of 10 second length.

* Only the notification message will be send to the user when it ready store 5 videos.

* When it reaches capacity (5 videos), the newest recording will not replace the oldest video.

* You need to delete the video to save another video.

* Videos are available to check through the APP only.

* There is no ability to download the video on to your smart device.

▶ You can adjust the speed by moving the joystick while pressing it
