In 2006, the largest apparel manufacturers and exporters were
countries from the Asia-Pacific region which included countries like
China, Hong Kong, Phillipines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh,
Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Thailand and India. The other major apparel
manufacturing nations were USA, Italy, Germany and Mexico.

Clothing are one of our basic needs for everyday’s life. They are the
things we must have in order to sustain our life. There are several
reasons why the clothing is important.
To Cover Ourselves
To Appear Attractive
For Work Related Purposes
For Special Occasions

There are a lots of countries who import clothes. For example, Europe. This
is depends on their cost of production of producing clothing in domestic.

New Zealand does export their clothes to other countries like Australia,
Europe etc. But mostly they import clothes or manufacture their clothes
in other countries.
