Install the Salesforce Inbox on Mobile and Desktop

Gmail Users:

Install the Chrome Extension from the Chrome Webstore

* Gmail Chrome extension only works with the Chrome browser.

Exchange & Office 365 Users:

Install in Outlook by following the instructions in Step 2.

* Available for Outlook 2013 and 2016.

* Outlook Desktop is available for Office 365, Microsoft Exchange 2013 and 2016 with limited functionality on Outlook for Mac and Microsoft Exchange 2013.

Available for Gmail, Exchange, and Office 365 users

To get started with Salesforce Inbox, simply install the app and connect your email account. This guide will outline the available platforms for Salesforce Inbox and provide step-by-step instructions for installing and connecting your account.

Before you download the app, be sure that your Salesforce admin has completed the steps in the Admin License Assignment Guide to install the Salesforce Inbox Control Panel, and has provisioned a license to your Salesforce account.

Salesforce Inbox is available on both mobile and desktop. To get started, first install the app on whichever platform you use:

* The Mobile app is available for Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2013, 2016.

Once you’ve installed Salesforce Inbox on your mobile device, follow the onscreen prompts to log in with your Salesforce credentials, and connect your email account. You’ll be ready to go in less than 1 minute!

iOS or Android

Tap the blue Salesforce button NOT the SalesforceIQ CRM link.

02Open the Salesforce Inbox app.

01Login with your Salesforce username & password. Done!

After installing the Salesforce Inbox Chrome Extension, log into your Gmail account then click Sign In on the Salesforce Inbox Chrome Extension panel on the right side of your Inbox.

Click on the blue Salesforce button NOT the SalesforceIQ CRM link.

Login to your Salesforce account with your username and password.

Allow Salesforce access to your account. You’re now connected!

After opening Outlook 2016 on your desktop, click Store in the Add-in’s section in the top navigation bar.

In the search field, enter Salesforce Inbox and click the

magnifying glass icon.

Switch Salesforce Inbox to On.03

Log in to the Outlook web app (not the Microsoft Office Store or Office 365). Select the in the upper-right corner.

Select Manage add-ins or Manage apps depending on your web app.

On the Manage add-ins screen, select the + in the upper-left corner, and then select Add from the Office Store.

Check the box to the right of Salesforce Inbox to turn it on.03

Log in to the Outlook web app (not the Microsoft Office Store or Office 365). Select the in the upper-right corner.

Select Manage add-ins.

In the search field, enter Salesforce Inbox and select the magnifying glass icon. Switch Salesforce Inbox to On.
