Initial sales are very encouraging, ahead of expectations, in UK, Europe, The Americas and Asia Pacific. Nick Hughes and Daryl Heng’s recent trip to Australia to promote the product also received encouraging reviews.

In November Trumeter will expand the successful Advanced Panel Meter range, with the introduction of the PROCESS METER. These meters are used in industries where parameters other than voltage, current or frequency need to be measured and displayed and can include temperature, speed, pressure and weight.

Featuring the easy-to-read display first seen in the APM, along with a versatile input that works with many industrial sensors, the Process Meter takes the APM into a wide range of new applications. The programmable scale and custom annunciators mean users can tailor the meter to display their critical parameters exactly how they want, whilst the dynamic backlighting in conjunction with setpoints means operators are visually alerted when a parameter is out of range.

The two outputs can be used for control and integration with other systems in the process, meaning the APM Process Meter is much more than just a display. trurange™ technology means the meter is super accurate for very precise measurement and control, and non-linear sensors such as thermocouples and pressure transducers can also be used thanks to the new software application which allows the user to configure up to 20 points in a non-linear conversion table.

Mainlight joins up with TrumeterMainlight (www.Mainlight.co.uk) is a lighting and electrical services company based in Cheshire, England, specialising in total lighting and electrical solutions for commercial, industrial and retail premises. On 2nd July 2014 Trumeter acquired Mainlight.

John Smith, Director of Trumeter Technologies, commented “Trumeter is delighted to welcome Mainlight to the Lighting Solutions Division of the Group. There are great synergies between Mainlight’s lighting and electrical expertise and Trumeter’s LED technology and products. In September, The Global HR team kicked off a six month programme to roll out these values to all employees in a fun and engaging way, with three meetings on the same day in three time zones. Monthly competitions, motivational screensavers, team shirts and stress buster giveaways have added to the impact, as has each Director championing a value. The Teamwork “Director’s Cut” video by Gil Copitch and Fred Hickey used the song “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” from Toy Story as its inspiration, and really demonstrated both teamwork and humour.

Each month employees are asked to nominate a colleague who most exemplifies that month’s value. Also the values are being incorporated into our performance management process and recruitment process. All very exciting! In the words of author and inventor Edward de Bono (1933-) “Effectiveness without values is a tool without a purpose.”

On Tuesday, October 7th Trumeter/IDT were delighted to host a distributor day in Penang, Malaysia which saw over 25 attendees from all over Malaysia and Singapore. The event showcased our range of Control & Measurement products and allowed guests to experience and test the products first-hand. With expert talks from Trumeter’s Product Manager, Nick Hughes and presentations from IDT’s General Manager, Gordon Norris and AP Sales Manager, Daryl Heng, the guests enjoyed an informative, hands-on experience with our top-of-the-range products.

Trumeter US are excited to announce that webinars have been added to the communication tools that we offer our APM customers, distributors and prospects!

Webinars enable us to demonstrate the power and flexibility of the APM product directly to the consumer. The demand for this tool was generated by our distribution partners, who were looking for an effective way to train their external sales forces and a single session can be scheduled and completed within hours, enabling us to communicate simultaneously with many people around the world - also far more environmentally friendly than flying and driving around!

Mont Blanc’s managing director, Paul Manfredi, outlined his satisfaction following the trial, commenting:

Ron Kendzior joined Trumeter in September as Regional Sales Manager, USA, with the specific responsibility to identify new markets and grow sales. Ron has over 25 years of experience in the sensor industry in sales, electrical, mechanical design and product management. He will work out of his home in Parrish, Florida.

Rick Walsh joined the UK Engineering team as a Software Engineer. Rick has 19 years of commercial experience software coding for a vast range of systems.

Daryl Heng joined IDT in Malaysia as Asia Pacific Regional Sales Manager with responsibility for maintaining and growing business in Asia Pacific, including Australia. Daryl has more than 10 years of sales experience in various industrial industries including electronics.

Ms Wong joined IDT in Malaysia as Finance Manager in August. A chartered accountant with over 10 years of financial experience in industry, she is a key member of the IDT Leadership Team.
