Asia Pacific Leaders Summit 2016, Nepal
Words from CCP
Dear AIESECers! It’s is a great honour for me to write this introduction sharing my passion
and commitment to this beautiful organisation which has given me the right mindset, direction and
opportunities to help shape myself into a better individual.
Being one of the pioneer members of AIESEC Nepal, it had always been my dream to showcase
Nepal and it’s potential at the global level. We’ve been bidding to host this event in Nepal for the
past three years. The opportunity to make APLS 2016 happen in Nepal is a great step forward in
showcasing Nepal globally.
Being on the CC team means to make this aim of ‘bringing Asia Pacific to the top of the world’
come true. This amazing conference is the physical representation of our mission and it is also
this wonderful moment in which we get to see 100+ young leaders from more than 24 countries
getting along together and working together to push this organisation forward. It will also help us
bring citizens of Nepal, the government and other organizations closer to our mission and
values.
I’ve made a promise that APLS 2016 will be more than a conference as with it’s true Nepali
essence, it will make those 100+ delegates come back to Nepal again. And this is a promise we
can deliver only with amazing individuals on our CC team!
I would like to appreciate everyone who decided to apply and for your eagerness to make APLS
2016 happen. I wish you good luck in the upcoming selection process!
Regards,
Ritesh Poddar | President | APLS 2016, Nepal
