PANAMA YOUTH FOOTBALL WHERE DREAMS BEGIN Introduction: The development of football in Panama has been a roller coaster ride going up and down over the past couple of years with no true dedication to developing and growing the program but the mere commitment of running a league monotonously year after year. We are here to change that rule and just like we have tried to create memories and unforgettable experiences for our youth through the Panama Marlins All Stars program we will dedicate our time and effort to change the landscape of football in our country forever. I hope that you too can share in our vision and rejoice in the satisfaction that together we built a program that will touch the lives, hearts and minds of all youth to come and serve to shape our future leaders. Overview: Panama Youth Football is an organization founded by over 40 parents, coaches and international football celebrities whose primary beliefs is that every child deserves the right to play football and cheer in a safe environment were the values of the YES (Youth Education & Sport ) principles and the 5 core VALUES of a TRUE athlete are employed. The YES principle stands for our commitment to accept every child regardless of his/her academic level and help the struggling student with study skills, time management discipline and tutoring where necessary to bring their grades up in an environment where they can be proud of their accomplishment. The (5) core values that to us represent a TRUE Athlete are: INTEGRITY: Positive internal traits that guide behavior You can preach a better sermon with your life than with your lips. RESPECT: Treating others the way you want to be treated Never look down on anybody unless you're helping him up. RESPONSIBILITY: The social force that binds the individual to the good of the team

Introduction:

The development of football in Panama has been a roller coaster ride going up and down over the past couple of years with no true dedication to developing and growing the program but the mere commitment of running a league monotonously year after year.

It is through this focus that Panama Youth Football will place itself at the forefront of youth football and cheer developing and implementing a one of a kind program that will promote the growth of the sport that has existed in our country for over 40 years but because of diverse reasons has not grown to its true potential.

Panama Youth Football counts on an advisory board of international celebrities with diverse backgrounds in the sport of football such as:

NFL Players NFL Coaches Olympic Speed Trainers College NCAA Recruiters NFL Strength & Conditioning Coaches High School Division 1 Coaches College Division 1 Coaches

The purpose and reason behind our advisory council is to serve as a driving force to project and expand the league both locally and internationally. The program will serve as a stepping stone for other Latin American programs that currently have recently began and require the assistance of international partners who can assist in developing the sport within their countries.

PYF is associated with one of the world’s largest youth football programs and has developed a systematic program that will not only develop players but will also serve to develop coaches and referees. The organization has established programs to promote players both at the High School and College Level serving as catalyst to provide our young athletes positions on US teams and thus a step closer to achieving their dreams.

Concept:

The concept of Panama Youth Football was created by the same group of coaches who over the past 4 years have led the Panama Marlins All Star program achieve what it has today conquered. The Marlins which recently won the Global Division Championship in Orlando, Florida in December of 2010 have traveled constantly on (5) occasions since 2008 and have accumulated over 33 victories in 36 presentations including the Global Championship. Led by Coach Ernest Holland and his vast football experience both in Texas and Panama along with his prestigious background as the only coach in Latin America to coach NFL players such as:

Frank Davis Detroit LionsMichael Haynes Chicago BearsDaryl Gardener Miami DolphinsLeo Barker Cincinnati BengalsGino Winters Seattle Seahawks

and accompanied by his staff of experienced ex players and coaches Rene Reyna, Gerardo Garrudo, Herb White, Ivan Paz and Michael Mirrop the Marlins have perfected a system of teaching our players the requirements needed to win on US soil.

Through their vision and that of their Director Michael Mirrop the Marlins have delivered consistently year after year on memorable experiences which we know will live in the hearts and minds of our youth for as long as they can remember.
