April 5th - Global Village

Global Village is an event which will drew the curtain

of APC 2016. You can not only experience Chinese

culture but also cultures of 20+ different countries and

regions. It is also a great opportunity for you to

introduce your country or region.

Preparation

• Prepare your country’s or region’s

traditional costumes

• Every entity needs to present traditional costumes on

stage in fashion show session. An amazing presentation

can be impressive for the delegates from other entities.

• Decorating the Booth

• Wrapped food, postcards or booklets. Anything you

think can present your entity well is OK.

• Traditional Games

• We will provide a part of the venue for each entity to

organize traditional games. We will reward the best

host entity chosen by all the entities in the venue 3

cases of beer for free.

• Talent Show

• If you want to participate in this session, you can send

the information of what you want to show to Peter ( CC

VP Special Events, guangheng.xu@apc2016.net ). We

prefer some particular talent shows of your entity.

April 7th – Youth Speak

Youth Speak Forum is a premiere event that brings together

both young and senior leaders to form a diverse cross-sector

and multi-generational space for inspiring conversations around

pressing global issues.

The forum aims to create an environment where people from

diverse backgrounds can cross-pollinate ideas, share insights

and gain new perspectives to create actionable outcomes to

push the world forward. We make this happen by taking our

delegates through the unique and interactive framework of

Inspire, Engage, Act.

Preparation

Business official/casual is required.

April 7th – China Night

You can experience several Chinese traditional games and taste

different Chinese special food in China Night. What’s more, there

will also be many Chinese special performances like Chinese

dragon dance and lion dance. In this event you will join different

Chinese competitive games with your home group and the winner

will get the opportunities to taste the Chinese food for free. Sugar

Figure Maker will also show you how to make a sugar figure on the

spot.

April 9th – Gala Dinner

Gala Dinner will be AI Awarding to celebrate the achievements

of entities. You can enjoy a buffet style dinner and expand your

global network by having dinner with others. CCT will also invite

some professional team to show you one of Chinese most

representative performances during the Gala Dinner. It will also

be an excellent opportunity to take photos with your new friends

in formal attires. Beijing Opera and other Chinese style

performances will be performed during the Gala Dinner.

POST TOUR

Shanghai Tour

Date: April 11th, 2016

Price: 350 CNY (including the tour bus fee, guide fee, tickets, a flavored lunch)

Agenda:9:00 Pick up at the gate of the hotel

where we will hold APC 2016.

9:00 - 11:40 Travel to the Bund, Yu Garden, Shanghai Old Street, and the Jade Buddha Temple.

11:40 – 13:00 Local-flavor lunch.

13:00 – 17:00 People's Square, Museum, Shanghai French Concession, and Lujiazui.

17:00 Go back to the gate of the hotel.

After collecting the preference for the post tour, we

have decided to provide a classics tourist route in

Shanghai with an English tour guide and an exclusive

bus after the conference.

Shanghai Tour

Notice:

1. If you want to join our post-tour activity,

please fill in the 2nd delegate survey.

The survey will be the confirmation.

2. Post-tour payment will be collected

while checking in.

3. The total price doesn’t include the

accommodation on April 10th. If you

want to stay at the same hotel on April

10th, please mark it in the survey. The

price will be the same as post-stay.

For delegates who will arrive earlier or leave later, we

provide early room-booking service.

The official order will be confirmed by the 2nd Delegate

Survey.

180 CNY per night per person.

Notice:

1. Preorder payment will be collected while

checking in.

2. Only double rooms and king-size rooms will

be provided. So if you can’t mix with others,

you need to pay for 2 people.

Price Per Delegate• For standard booking:

• Pre/Post-stay: Around 180 CNY per night

• Post tour: 400 CNY

• For late booking: • 115% of the standard booking price.

Booking Method• For standard booking :

• Fill in the 2nd Official Delegate Survey as official confirmation of booking.

• For late booking: • Email to payment@apc2016.net with a subject of

“Booking+MC+LC+Name”, and state what you want to book in the email.

Payment Method • Cash payment in CNY during check-in for

booking/cancellation fee.

Cancellation policy• You will enjoy free cancellation before corresponding

standard booking deadline. After that, you will be charged 80 CNY for one night pre/post-stay cancellation and 200 CNY for post-tour cancellation.

• Email to payment@apc2016 with a subject of "Booking Cancellation_Your MC_Your LC_Your Name", and stating the exact booking you wish to cancel.

Pick-Up Information

Location:

International Arrival Hall in Pudong International

Airport.

Pick-Up Arrangement:

1. Pick-up service will be provided on:

April 4th, 08:00 – 24:00

April 5th, 08:00 – 22:00

2. Pick-up service includes:

a) CC will wait you in the arrival hall in both

Terminal 1 & 2.

b) CC will provide printed transportation

guidance.

c) CC will gather delegates and accompany

them to the hotel by metro or taxi at:

April 4th: 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 18:00, 20:00,

22:00, 24:00

April 5th: 10:00, 12:00

d) If delegates don’t want to wait for the

above time, CC will guide them to the metro

station.

• The Guanglan Road Station and Century Avenue Station are transfer stops. You could transfer to

corresponding subway lines without getting out.

• When you arrive at Dapuqiao Metro Station, please take exit from Exit 3. The walk guidance please

refer to the waking map in following pages.

Wakling Guidance From Metro Station Exit to Hotel

• There are two Metro Stations near Shanghai Rayfont Downtown Hotel, which is Dapuqiao Station

and Jiashan Road Station. The distance from both stations is around 0.5 km.

• If you arrive at Dapuqiao Station, please take exit from Exit 3(which is maked as , the right one, on

the following map. If you arrive at Jiashan Road Station, please take exit from Exit 2(which is maked

as , the left one, on the following map. Walk along the Zhaojiabang Road（肇嘉浜路）, and you

will find the hotel(which is marked as on the following map).

• For your convenience, we also mark the north on the upper right corner of this map.

Other Tips

• Download a Map app before you come to China, such as Google Map, Baidu Map, or AutoNavi

Map. Downloading a offline map of Shanghai in advance would be better.

• We highly recommend you to print or save the transportation guidance for your reference at any

time. The Chinese version of routes may be helpful when you want to turn to passers-by for help. In

China, most young people could speak English, so you could talk to them when need.

• If you get into trouble when traveling, please turn to police nearby or call 110(Police Hotline) for help.

• In the downtown of Shanghai, you could order a taxi almost at any time. A green sign means empty.

• For domestic delegates, If you arrive at a railway station, please find the route by yourself.

• The Chinese name and address of our hotel is provided as following: 上海徐汇瑞峰酒店，上海市徐汇区

肇嘉浜路7号. When you are in need, such as ordering a taxi, it would be helpful.

Temperature

The average temperature of Shanghai during the early April is around 15℃.

Clothing

You’d better bring your thin sweater, T-shirt as well as jeans in case of

catching a cold.

Weather

At that time in Shanghai, it rains from time to time. So an umbrella is

needed.

Consumption

For one meal in restaurant, 20 CNY per person in minimum standard.

For one night accommodation in the central area of Shanghai, 150 CNY at

least.

For subway transportation, 3~11 CNY according to the distance.

For taxi, the pricing is as below:
