Background

• Conducting Employee Surveys with TalentMap since 2004

• Wanted an external 3rd party with validated tool • Wanted benchmark data with other health care

organizations, not just how we were doing• Did 2 surveys solo, before SWLHIN together

Lessons Learned – First Survey

• Important that groups of less than 5 cannot get a report – choose your groupings wisely and meaningfully

• Staff appreciated confidentiality and trusted it – but confusion over who was going to read the verbatim comments

• Clinical teams lag behind community in response rate consistently

SWLHIN - CHCs

• Did an RFP for vendor for the 5 CHCs• At the time, TalentMap was the only one who had benchmark

data for CHC type organizations• Benchmarking within our LHIN, other CHCs• Heading into our third survey with TalentMap as a collective,

adding SOAHAC
