Dear Friends, I’d like to give a special thanks to all the ladies who helped make our women’s event with Kelly Wahlquist a smashing success! Thank you to Rita Trettel and Lori Schoz for coordination the refreshments, and special thanks to Marion Leners for always taking care of the Church when I coordinate events in Bowlus. I’d also like to thank Lenore Dawson, Ruby Eiden and Virginia Tretter for greeting all of our guests. Lastly, thanks to all of you who took time out of your busy schedules to come to listen to Kelly speak. I know that Jesus will bear abundant fruit in your life because of your “yes” to Him. Kelly really lit a fire in all of us with her challenge to evangelize! My prayer is that we can continue to keep the fire going! We can do this by activating our relationship with the Holy Spirit, cultivating a daily prayer life, frequenting the sacraments, and staying engaged in community. Remember that our faith grows best when we are uncomfortable. Maybe the Holy Spirit is calling you out of your comfort zone! Maybe it’s time to prayer-fully consider attending our men’s group, women’s group or other parish evangelization efforts. Maybe it’s time to invite your neighbor to Mass. Maybe it’s time to get back in the practice of going to confession. This week, I encourage you to spend some time with the Holy Spirit asking Him how you are called to grow. It’s easy to take the path of least resistance, but if we want to grow, we must be willing to undergo resistance training! Pope Benedict reminds us that “we were not made for comfort, we were made for greatness!” If we want to flourish, thrive and grow towards greatness, then we’ve got to buckle down and take the narrow way. God Bless you!~ Kristin

All Saints Building update: On May 2nd, I wrote a letter to the Bishop and Diocesan Building Committee about the issues we are discussing in the area of the steps and/or future building in Holdingford. On May 29th, Bob Pueringer and myself presented to the Diocesan Board in St. Cloud on where we are at and asking for permission to hire a fundraiser firm and do a feasibility study to see whether or not the funds are present to move forward. The Board was about 8 members. The Diocese did give us a go ahead to do a feasibility study for a possible new church. Please continue to pray! All Cluster Thank you for all who helped make the Bowlus and Holdingford outdoor Masses a success!
