Our Approach
Our approach is simple: engage willing landowners and partners, using direct financial and technical assistance, to conserve and protect fish and
wildlife values on their property.
“Private Lands” work began with wetland restoration adjacent to
National Wildlife Refuges

198 acres of native and non-native grasslands and alkali scrub habitat in Tulare Co.
240 acres of saltbush shrublands/alkali scrub, valley grassland, and valley riparian habitats surrounding the confluence of Silver Creek and Panoche Creek, in Fresno Co.
1,615 acres of valley grassland and scrub-shrub on Stubblefield Ranch, located at the southeastern end of the Carrizo Plain National Monument in Kern and San Luis Obispo Cos.
280 acres of valley grassland and saltbush scrubland habitats on the Martin Ranch, in Fresno Co.
