The early years of a child’s life are golden as most of his brain growth takes place within
first six years. Children learn to communicate their feelings, thoughts and needs.
This work plan has been designed to serve as a guide for teachers and parents to help them
deliver and make our little angels ready for school. The idea is to help these children in skill
building, nurturing and build responsive relationships so that they become socially and
emotionally strong.
The major objectives of the work plan are-
To give children play based learning opportunities.
To ensure smooth transition to formal school by developing necessary readiness in all
curricular areas of learning.
To develop the fine/gross muscle and eye- hand co-ordination.
Prepared for the tiny tots of:
Vishwa Bharati Public School, Noida
Vishwa Bharati Public School, Ghaziabad
Vishwa Bharati Public School, Greater Noida
Vishwa Bharati Public School, Dwarka, New Delhi

There was a clever fox. He was very hungry and
looking for food here and there.
He saw a crow sitting on a tree with a piece of
cake in his beak. He wanted to eat that cake so
he called out “Brother crow, brother crow, please
give me that cake”. But the crow shook his head
and said, “No, no, no”. The fox got an idea.
He said, “Brother Crow, you sing very sweetly.
Please sing a song for me”. The crow was very
happy, he opened his mouth and started singing,
“Caw, caw, caw, and caw”. The piece of cake fell
down. The fox quickly picked it up, ate it and ran
away.
Moral: We should not be taken away by false praise.
TERM- II The Two Frogs
Once two frogs played near a pot of cream.
They decided to look into the pot and fell into it.
They could not get out of the pot.
So they swam round and round in the cream.
One of them was afraid and said, “Oh! This is the end of my life” and
stopped swimming and sank.
But the second brave was brave and clever.
He swam and swam and beat the cream
with its little feet.
The cream became the ball of butter.
The frog jumped on the ball of the butter and got out of the pot.
Moral of the story- One should never give up, keep trying and trying till you
succeed.
Assessment of the stories at the end of each term.
