INTRODUCTION

• The Unidad de Quemados (Burn Pediatric Unit)attached to the “Hospital del Niño Poblano”offers attention to pediatric age patients (sincenewborns up to 18 years of age) with burnlesions.

• The Pediatric Burned Unit activities focusspecifically in advance integral medical care forthe population below 18 years old, that hassuffered trauma by the burns and requiredhospital care

• The state of Puebla counts on a populationof 6,183,320 that represents 5% of thepopulation of the whole country, the stateoccupies the 5th place with the mostnumber of inhabitants.

• Is estimated that the unity benefits thepopulation of influence of 2,164,162 whichrepresents 35% of the inhabitants of thestate.
