Skin with high hyaluronic acid content
Hyaluronic acid
Skin with low hyaluronic acid content
Hyaluronidase
Hyaluronic acid is naturally occurring polysaccharide in skin’s connective tissue. It binds up to 1000 times its volume in water to help skin retain moisture and suppleness. The amount of HA diminishes with age.
Hyaluronidases is the enzyme that catalyzes the degradation of hyaluronic acid into small HA fragments. Increasing the activityof hyaluronidase, resulting in lossof skin moisture and elasticity.
Et-VCTM keeps skin softer, smoother, supple and hydrated.

Filaggrin
NMF
Filaggrin is a filament aggregating protein which is essential for regulating skin homeostasis and imparts skin barrier function. Filaggrin contributes to skin hydration through generation of free amino acids.
CAPN1 (Calpain 1) and BLMH (Bleomycin hydrolase) are filaggrin processing enzymes responsible for cleaving small filaggrin fragments
into amino acids for NMF formation.
NMF (natural moisturizing factor) maintains the adequate hydration of stratum corneum to impart barrier function which protects skin against harmful microorganisms and mechanical stress and activate hydrolytic enzyme necessary in desquamation. NMF keeps the skin supple and soft.
