Worship has been amazing. People’s lives are being changed one by one, and new faces are appearing every week. The Holy Spirit is moving in our lives, and there is a renewed excitement at First Bapst. We need to give credit where credit is due: Thanks be to God for His blessings, His calling, and His sufficient grace. May we connue to study His word, serve in His church, and expand His kingdom. May we connue to pray for the Holy Spirit’s movement in our lives and in the lives of our fellowship and community. I look forward to the days ahead as we grow together in Him. Route 252 and Children’s Choir meet each Wednesday night from 6:00-7:15 and will be focusing on songs for a musical to be performed in August. There is no Route 252 July 22 during Roan Mountain Week. For those who have signed up, our “Sleeping with the Sharks” Aquarium trip is July 26-27. Money is due no later than July 5. We will meet in the parking lot at 4:00 on the 26th and return between 3:00 and 4:00 on July 27. Adults $82; Kids $40.

No First Ladies Missions or Nursing Home Visitation in July. WMU Ministry Project for Beth Moore, SBC missionary to India, on Tuesday, July 7, at 12:00PM. Meet in the Fellowship Hall. We will need sewers, cutters and stuffers! Prayer Shawl Group meets Monday, July 13, at 6PM in the Parlor. Open Heart WOM meets Thursday, July 16, at 10AM in the Parlor.

We are continuing to work with the Abortion Alternatives TLC Summer Children’s Food Program by providing over 400 sandwiches per week. If you can help, please meet us in the kitchen each Tuesday at 10:00AM. Anne Galloway will be leading the last four lessons of the Following God Series beginning Wednesday, July 8, at 6:00PM. This character study of women in the Bible began last fall. They will meet in the Emmaus Room. Fellowship at the ball park on Sunday, July 12. No PM service at church.

BigStuf Youth Camp is finally here! We leave for Panama City Beach on Sunday, July 5, at 1:00PM and return July 11. We will share our trip with you on Youth Sunday July 19.
