“Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave; just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:26-28 (CSB)

1. Giving like Jesus involves being an AVAILABLE servant.

“Do not say to your neighbor, ‘Go, and come again, tomorrow I will give it’—when you have it with you.” Proverbs 3:28 (ESV)

2. Giving like Jesus involves being a HOSPITABLE servant.

“Be hospitable to one another without complaining. Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others, as good stewards of the varied grace of God.” 1 Peter 4:9-10 (CSB)

3. Giving like Jesus involves being a FAITHFUL servant.

“A person should think of us in this way: as servants of Christ and managers of the mysteries of God. In this regard, it is required that managers be found faithful.” 1 Corinthians 4:1-2 (CSB)
