We hope you will stop by the children’s check-in counter and pick up what you need for your family, and any neighbors who might not be able to attend right now.

Is Something Missing?Have you been stuck at home during the pandemic and have been missing out on human interaction? It is not good to be alone! 1 SUNDAY, AUGUST 2, 2020 “CROWN HIM WITH MANY CROWNS” Crown Him with many crowns, the Lamb upon His throne. Hark! how the heavenly anthem drowns all music but its own! Awake, my soul, and sing of Him who died for thee, and hail Him as thy matchless King, through all eternity. Crown Him the Lord of love! Behold His hands and side, rich wounds, yet visible above, in beauty glorified. No angel in the sky, can fully bear that sight, but downward bends his wondering eye, at mysteries so bright. Crown Him the Lord of life! Who triumphed o’er the grave. Who rose victorious to the strife, for those He came to save. His glories now we sing, who died and rose on high, who died eternal life to bring, and lives that death may die. Crown Him the Lord of heav’n, one with the Father known, one with the Spirit through Him giv’n from yonder glorious throne. To Thee be endless praise, for Thou for us hast died. Be Thou, O Lord, through endless days adored and magnified.

2 “HE WHO IS MIGHTY” Oh, the mercy our God has shown to those who sit in death’s shadow. The sun on high pierced the night, born was the Cornerstone. Unto us a Son is given, unto us a Child is born. (Chorus) He who is mighty has done a great thing, taken on flesh, conquered death’s sting, shattered the darkness and lifted our shame. Holy is His Name, Holy is His Name. Oh, the freedom our Savior won. The yoke of sin has been broken! Once a slave, now by grace no more condemnation. Unto us a Son is given, unto us a Child is born. Unto us a Son is given, unto us a Child is born. (Chorus) He who is mighty has done a great thing, taken on flesh, conquered death’s sting, shattered the darkness and lifted our shame. Holy is His Name. (Chorus) He who is mighty has done a great thing, taken on flesh, conquered death’s sting, shattered the darkness and lifted our shame. Holy is His Name, Holy is His Name. Now my soul magnifies the Lord! I rejoice in the God who saves! I will trust His unfailing love! I will sing His praises all my days! Now my soul magnifies the Lord! I rejoice in the God who saves! I will trust His unfailing love! I will sing His praises all my days! I will sing His praises all my days! I will sing His praises all my days!

3 “PRAISE TO THE LORD, THE ALMIGHTY” Praise to the Lord the Almighty, the King of Creation! O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy health and salvation! All ye who hear, now to His temple draw near, join me in glad adoration! Praise to the Lord, who o’er all things so wondrously reigneth, shelters thee under His wings, yes, so gently sustaineth! Hast thou not seen how all thy longings have been granted in what He ordaineth? Praise to the Lord, who doth prosper thy work and defend thee. Surely His goodness and mercy here daily attend thee. Ponder anew, what the Almighty can do, if with His love He befriend thee. Praise to the Lord! O let all that is in me adore Him! All that hath life and breath come now with praises before Him! Let the Amen sound from His people again, gladly forever adore Him! Let the Amen sound from His people again, gladly forever adore Him! “HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD” The splendor of the King, clothed in majesty, let all the earth rejoice, all the earth rejoice. He wraps Himself in light, and darkness tries to hide and trembles at His voice, trembles at His voice. (Chorus) How great is our God, sing with me, how great is our God, and all will see how great, how great is our God. Age to age He stands, and time is in His hands, beginning and the end, beginning and the end. The Godhead, three in one, Father, Spirit, Son, the Lion and the Lamb, the Lion and the Lamb. (Chorus) How great is our God, sing with me, how great is our God, and all will see how great, how great is our God. (Chorus) How great is our God, sing with me, how great is our God, and all will see how great, how great is our God.

Page 11: “A Time of ConfliCT 1 SAmuel 25:2-35.… · Hark! how the heavenly anthem drowns all music but its own! Awake, my soul, and sing of Him who died for thee, and hail Him as thy matchless

4 “HOW GREAT THOU ART” O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder consider all the worlds Thy hands have made, I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy pow'r thro'out the universe displayed. (Chorus) Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee, how great Thou art, how great Thou art. Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee, how great Thou art, how great Thou art. And when I think that God, His Son not sparing, sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in, that on the cross, my burden gladly bearing, He bled and died to take away my sin. (Chorus) Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee, how great Thou art, how great Thou art. Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee, how great Thou art, how great Thou art. When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation and take me home, what joy shall fill my heart! Then I shall bow in humble adoration, and there proclaim, my God, how great Thou art. (Chorus) Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee, how great Thou art, how great Thou art. Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee, how great Thou art, how great Thou art.

5 “THE LORD IS MY SALVATION” The grace of God has reached for me and pulled me from a raging sea, and I am safe on this solid ground. The Lord is my salvation. I will not fear when darkness falls. His strength will help me scale these walls. I'll see the dawn of the rising sun. The Lord is my salvation. Who is like the Lord our God? Strong to save, faithful in love. My debt is paid and the victory won. The Lord is my salvation. My hope is hidden in the Lord. He flowers each promise of His word. When winter fades, I know spring will come. The Lord is my salvation. In times of waiting, times of need, when I know loss, when I am weak, I know His grace will renew these days. The Lord is my salvation. Who is like the Lord our God? Strong to save, faithful in love. My debt is paid and the victory won. The Lord is my salvation. And when I reach my final day, He will not leave me in the grave, but I will rise, He will call me home. The Lord is my salvation. Who is like the Lord our God? Strong to save, faithful in love. My debt is paid and the victory won. The Lord is my salvation. INVITATION “MY FAITH HAS FOUND A RESTING PLACE” My faith has found a resting place, not in device or creed. I trust the Ever-living One, His wounds for me shall plead. (Chorus) I need no other argument, I need no other plea. It is enough that Jesus died, and that He died for me. Enough for me that Jesus saves, this ends my fear and doubt. A sinful soul I come to Him, He'll never cast me out. (Chorus) I need no other argument, I need no other plea. It is enough that Jesus died, and that He died for me. My heart is leaning on the Word, the written Word of God. Salvation by my Savior's name, salvation thru His blood. (Chorus) I need no other argument, I need no other plea. It is enough that Jesus died, and that He died for me. My great Physician heals the sick, the lost He came to save. For me His precious blood He shed, for me His life He gave. (Chorus) I need no other argument, I need no other plea. It is enough that Jesus died, and that He died for me.

6 OFFERTORY “LIVING WATERS” Are you thirsty? Are you empty? Come and drink these living waters. Tired and broken, peace unspoken, rest beside these living waters. Christ is calling. Find refreshing at the cross of living waters. Lay your life down, all the old gone, rise up in these living waters.
