Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is the largest state park in California. Five-hundred miles of dirt roads,12 wilderness areas and miles of hiking trails provide visitors with an unparalleled opportunity to

experience the wonders of the Colorado Desert.

PARK FEES are due and payable upon entry

into the park. Use the sel-registration system

i the entrance station is closed. The campsite

ee covers one vehicle. There are additional

ees or extra vehicles.

OCCUPANCY: Each campsite may have up to

eight people (including children).

VEHICLE PARKING: Vehicles may be parked

only in your assigned campsite. They must

remain on the pavement and must not extend

into the roadway beyond the campsite number

or limit line. Three vehicles maximum are

allowed per campsite.

CHECK-OUT TIME is noon. Please vacate

your site by that time. Check-in is 2 p.m.

RE-REGISTRATION: I you do not have a

reservation and wish to re-register, you must

do so beore 9:00 the morning you are due out.

OFF SEASON: No reservations allowed rom

May 15 to October 1. Summer heat makes

this desert park a dangerous place to hike and

camp or the unprepared. Temperatures range

rom 110 to 120 degrees. First aid or heat

exhaustion and heat stroke are common this

time o year.

DOGS must be kept on a leash no longer than

six eet and under control at all times. They are

not permitted in buildings or on trails (except

or service dogs). Dogs must be confned to a

vehicle or tent at night.

FIRES AND FIREWOOD: Please be cautious

when building fres. Fires are allowed only in

established fre rings or camp stoves. Do not

build ground fres outside the fre rings or leave

campfres unattended. Do not gather frewood

in the parkthe nutrients must be allowed

to recycle back into the ecosystem. You may

purchase frewood rom the camp hosts.

SPEED LIMIT: The maximum speed limit is

15 mph. When pedestrians, bicyclists and

children are present, even 15 mph might be

too ast. Use good judgment.

BICYCLES are allowed on roadways only.

QUIET HOURS are rom 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. To

ensure an enjoyable experience or everyone,

please do not disturb other campers,regardless o the time o day or night.

NOISE: Radios and other sound-producing

devices must not be audible beyond your

immediate campsite, regardless o the time o

day or night.

GAMES that are disruptive to other campers

or the environment are strictly prohibited.

GENERATORS may be operated only betweenthe hours o 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.

THEFT WARNING: Keep your vehicles locked

and your valuables out o sight. Do not leave

property out at night. Report suspicious

activity to a ranger or camp host.
