Community Levy – all rates exclude a Community Levy of $7.50 per person per night. Chemucane Tourism Company, a joint venture between the Chemucane Community and the Bell Foundation built and operates Anvil Bay creating benefits in terms of skills, jobs and the purchases of local materials, products and services. A levy of $7.50 per person per night is paid to the community. Concession fees, which are included in the rate, support the conservation efforts in the Maputo Special Reserve.

Maputo Special Reserve Park Entrance Fees – self drive only Mozambique residents: 400 MZN per person plus 400 MZN per vehicle entrance fee. SADC residents: 600 MZN per person plus 700 MZN per vehicle entrance fee. Other nationalities: 900 MZN per person plus 700 MZN per vehicle entrance fee.

Over 60 and under 12 year olds are exempt of paying the once off entrance.

CHILD POLICY 1. Children up to 4 years stay free of charge. Children 4-12 yrs sharing with parents pay 50% of the

adult rate. 2. Casinhas can accommodate a maximum of two children under 16 years sharing with parents. 3. An extra bed and/or camp cot will be made available upon request. 4. The Family Casinha accommodates 2 adults (king size) and 2 children (single beds) in an adjacent

area with a bathtub on a private patio. 5. Two of our casinhas are close together and connected by a path. The casinhas can be set up for a

family group of between 6 and 8 (2 adults and 2 children at most in each room). 6. Children sharing a Casinha will be subject to the first child paying adult rate and the other child/

children will pay the relevant child rate. 7. Children under the age of 12 in a separate casinha to their parents need to be advised that not all

casinhas are located within view of each other and are not connected with walkways other than beach access.

8. Restrictions apply to certain activities for children under the age of twelve. Activities stipulate the specific restrictions and requirements.

9. Children aged 2 and upwards will have to book and pay full adult rates on helicopter transfers.

TERMS OF PAYMENT 1. A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm a reservation. 2. Balance payable 30 days prior to arrival. 3. Provisional bookings will only be accepted more than 6 weeks prior to stay and will be held for a

maximum of two weeks. 4. Any bookings made within 30 days prior to travel will require full pre payment within seven days of

making the reservation. 5. Any bookings made within 7 days prior to travel will require full pre payment immediately. 6. Please quote the reservation number and surname of the party as a reference when payment is

made. 7. Please ensure that all bank charges are paid in addition to the total amount invoiced.

STANDARD TOUR OPERATOR TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. This contract shall come into force upon signature by both of the parties hereto. 2. The Laws of Mozambique shall in all respects, govern this contract. 3. Rates are quoted in US Dollars and are inclusive of 17% Mozambican Sales Tax. 4. Companhia de Turismo de Chemucane, LDA reserves the right to amend the quoted tariffs should

there be any change in the percentage rate of IVA (VAT) or any other levy, tax or impost becoming payable by Companhia de Turismo de Chemucane, LDA after the date of printing of this contract.

5. Rack rates provided are a guideline and are not contracted rates. These are purely for the purpose of comparison and are subject to change. The Tour Operators rates are the contracted rates.

CANCELLATIONS/AMENDMENTS Cancellations and amendments must be given in writing to reservations@anvilbay.com or info@anvilbay.com and are subject to the following conditions: 1. Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival will forfeit the 20% deposit payment. We will

allow for the 20% deposit to be utilized for a future booking. 2. Cancellation of confirmed bookings less than 30 days prior to arrival will be subject to 100% cancel-

lation fees. 3. When holding provisional bookings, Companhia de Turismo de Chemucane reserves the right to

when in the position to accept another confirmed booking, request the operator to confirm the bo-oking with deposit payment within 48 hours.
