2. Basic Information of Anuradha Koirala Anuradha Koirala was born in Nepal and grew up to be an English teacher ata primary school at a young age. Anuradha Koirala once said, "human trafficking is a heinous crime, the shameof human nature. She called all together to create a global society, wherethere is no longer human trafficking, because "we have to do for ourdaughter" Anuradha Koirala received domestic violence from her husband and evenmade her have three miscarriages. This inspired her to stop sex traffickingand men abusing women. She left her husband in later years and spent her salary of $100 to hirewomen to support her in stopping sex trafficking and domestic violence. In the early 1990s, more women needed Anuradha Koiralas help and she setup a House Mother to help these girls recover. Anuradha today is 61 years old and wants to continue her work of savingchildren and girls until she dies for it to carry on forever. 3. Information about the saving of Sex Trade Anuradha Koirala has saved over 12,000 girls from sex traffickingsince 1993 because of her organization Maiti Nepal Anuradha has told men to STOP selling woman into enslaved sextrade and repeatedly raping and abusing them Koirala has saved woman from being raped by taking them back toher shelter for the protection and healing of trafficking victimsrescued. The Shelter Home provides awareness training, education,vocational training, as well as and counseling and medical advice tosurvivors of trafficking.
